I have exploring isometrics, as I am building my very first Yogabellz course. Taking a deep dive, into what I call your inner landscape. I was just playing around after working this morning, and naturally took some Bandha work into a modified Piston.
Then discovered that one side was just naturally engaged set and ready, and the other side wanted nothing to do with it!! Always something to work on in MY inner land scape😂💪😎💙

One of the most important and challenging things that I have learned in the last ten years is that healing is INTENTIONAL! That it a daily practice of what you and your body NEEDS on that particular day. It must become a priority and that you must intentionally incorporate the habits necessary to heal yourself. For me it started with letting go of “faster, stronger, harder” mentality and into the act of “listening”. I have had the title to my biography for a while….it is “Your body, Servant? Master? Or Best Friend?” The key to healing is becoming your OWN best friend 💜💙❤️💚💛🧡

This is amazing!! I built my life around Shotokan Karate, after I had my first child I wanted to keep training, so I had set a goal to compete in the open division of our National Tournament. Victoria was a 4 months old when I won my first National title in Kata!! I was a single mom and qualifying to go to a World Tournament was great, but seemed impossible to make happen. The Karate community rallied and helped fund the trip, a friend came with me and took care of Victoria while I competed in Montreal.....it was an amazing experience and set me into the ITKF world of Shotokan Karate. It is interesting in retrospection that it was always the year after the birth of my other two children that I would come back and win National titles. As women we should rally around these amazing women trailblazing for life after pregnancy.....hmmmmm.....being told to "stay in your place"......Let's make THAT place be whatever the HELL we FEEL like it should BE!!! I know I will be watching this woman find hers in a couple of weeks.
