Severโ€™s disease at 11 years old is no small thing. When your heel hurts at an 8 out of 10, and your knees ache every time you run, you donโ€™t just lose performance. You lose reps. You lose confidence. You lose the chance to build a strong movement foundation while your body is still wiring itself for life.

That was his reality. He had ongoing heel pain from Severโ€™s disease, knee pain that kept coming back, and an unsteady gait that made sports harder than they shouldโ€™ve been.

Multiple physio and podiatrist visits gave temporary relief, but the pain always returned. And when pain keeps returning at that age, it starts shaping how you move. You begin to guard. You avoid leg drive. You disconnect your core. The pelvis becomes unstable. The gait gets choppy. If you cannot run without pain at 11, you are not just limited in sport. You are limited in building the blueprint that carries you into adulthood.

This is where FP training with .delange came in. Over six months, we didnโ€™t chase symptoms. We trained the system. We focused on leg drive, pelvic stability, and integrating the core with every step. We restored the coordination between hips, trunk, and feet so that force could move through his body instead of getting stuck in his heel and knee.
