🏐 A little sneak peek at what’s coming to Volleys in 2027!

We have some exciting improvements in the works, including an upgraded kids’ play area and a new shaded patio along Courts 1 and 2!

It’s all part of our plans to make Volleys an even better place to play, relax, watch the games and spend time with family and friends.

These are just concept sketches for now, but we wanted to give you a little glimpse of what’s ahead!

A NEW ERA FOR VOLLEYS IS ON THE HORIZON!

Exciting things are happening at Volleys!

Today Denice Ferguson had the opportunity to sit down with new owners Joe Lane and Rick Gilmore to talk about big ideas, updates, and a vision for the future of Volleys!

From remodeling and facility improvements to creating an even better experience for our players, customers, and community, there’s a lot of energy and enthusiasm behind what’s coming next.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be onboard for this next chapter and excited about the passion Joe, Rick and team are bringing to the table,” said Ferguson.

Volleys is a St. Joe original, and the goal isn’t to change what makes it special — it’s to build on it, breathe new life into it, and make it better than ever!

We’ve got ideas, we’ve got enthusiasm, and most importantly, we’ve got a shared love for what Volleys can be.

Same Volleys. Fresh energy. Exciting things ahead!

All league games will play normal schedule today, Sunday June 28th. Unfortunately the business will no longer be open for our Spring Leagues to complete the week 10 game.

We apologize that circumstances will not allow for teams to complete the 2026 Spring Season.

Volleys has been a St. Joseph landmark since its addition to the Belt Sports Complex in 1987 and the fun and friends made on those four courts over the years is unmeasurable.

If you have memories or even pictures you’d share with the Volleys Family on this page we would love to see them and it would help us all as this news settles in.

1 Division
8–12 Team Cap
Teams split into:
Upper Bracket
Lower Bracket
after pool play

TEAM RULES

4 players on court
Minimum 1 female player per team
No required rotations
Rally scoring
No open hand tips
Honor system on calls
Competitive atmosphere without toxic energy

Each matchup = Best 2 out of 3
Games to 21
Win by 2
Cap at 23

Pool Seeding

Seeding determined by:

Total points scored
Match record
Point differential

Top teams move into Upper Bracket
Remaining teams move into Lower Bracket

BRACKET PLAY

Best 2 out of 3

Games 1 & 2

To 21

The 2026 Spring League schedules have been posted in the photo album for all nights. If you have questions, do not message on FB (it's not staffed), Call the Bowl at (816)233-1054, leave your Team Name, Captain Name, Phone and your question and we will return your call.

TEAM NAMES!! Please look at your first choice of night and league first to see if your team is listed. Many, many teams duplicate their name choice and it is almost always a FALSE ALARM to see the name in a different league and think it is your team being misplaced.

Also, you must at least know your team name and captain name for us to look up your registration information.
