Awesome experience having Tyler training with us a couple weeks ago… and being a part of his show! He’s a GREAT dude, super high level grappler, and I highly recommend any and all grapplers to join him and the crew at The Academy-Eden Prairie for open mat on Fridays/Saturdays when able! Watching this video with his critique has already helped my game. He comes from a wrestling background (Brainerd, MN) and is a true example of a Wrestle-Jitsuer!!! Make sure to check his YouTube channel out and give him a follow.

🇺🇸 vs 🇨🇦 Here is the list of Canadian competitors we have thus far. Soon, we will have more ages/weights… and some jiu-jitsu opportunities too! We are hosting a clinic with them on Saturday July 1st, and a competition on July 2nd. We will have some awesome plaques for winners of each bracket, and are hoping to have 4-5 person round robins. Matches will be in Freestyle. If you have no (or little) freestyle experience don’t worry…. We will help you prepare over the next month! Cost for non-members is $50 (early bird) which includes clinic and competition. We also have a special membership option for you to train with us until the competition! Tonight’s Preseason Training Camp session will be ran by 4x MN High School State Champion, and by far THE MOST accomplished high school wrestler in Central Minnesota’s history… Mitch Bengtson!!!

Seth & Ronna Gross clinic is this weekend!!! We are looking for a couple Central or Northern Minnesota area coaches (with youth, high school or college programs) that would be interested in joining us for the clinic FREE of charge. It is our hope they will be able to take some technique and other strategies back to their program, and share the knowledge with wrestlers that are unable to attend.
