Come one, come all! This Fall semester, the Illini Trap and S***t Club is proud to announce our hosting of the Second Annual Illini Fall Invitational, for BOTH HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGIATE TEAMS! We are excited to offer high school teams this prime opportunity to experience the world of collegiate clay target competition, and to help link prospective high school shooters with recruiting colleges! Our final competitive event of the year took us to Bunker Hill, IL for the USA Clay Target League National Championships! Our team performed on our absolute best, taking down a myriad of awards throughout the USACCTL season! Congratulations to Thomas Posthuma for taking down third place in conference in Men's S***t, Maggie French for taking down third place in trap and second in s***t in the Women's division, and Gunnar Wayne Wuebben for winning first overall in trap, high overall male average, and taking down gold class in the championship event! We are super hyped to come back this next season for spring league, the hardware will follow! ***t

Our next big event took us to Warsaw, Indiana for the Hoosier Fall Collegiate Invitational, graciously hosted by our friends at Purdue Trap & S***t Club and Grace College Shooting Sports Club ! Congratulations to Gunnar Wayne Wuebben and Thomas Posthuma for their individual wins in S***t and Doubles Trap! We are already super excited for next year, cannot wait to come back! A special thanks to Fulton County Gun Club and Kosko Shooting Sports for yet another excellent event!

I know, I know, we've been quiet for a while! Don't worry, we haven't left-- In fact, we've been busier than ever! Starting in October, our first stop on our update takes us to Sparta, IL for the Scholastic Clay Target Program Fall Central Midwest Regional Championships! What a trip this was! We had an absolute blast and are itching to compete again with other collegiate teams from across the country at the ACUI Collegiate Clay Target Championships in San Antonio this March! We're not done yet, stay tuned over the next couple days for further updates!

Hey everyone! Sorry we've been a little quiet over the past couple months, there's been a lot going on and we've been super busy, so here's a little fall semester recap!

Our first stop was at the World Shooting and Recreational Complex in Sparta, IL mid-October for ACUI Central Midwest Regionals! We had an awesome time there competing with some of the best shooters in the country! Congratulations to our very own Daniel Lewis, who earned the Classic All American award!

Our next big event was in Oakland, IL for our biannual sporting clays event at Olde Barn Sporting Clays! It was an awesome time getting together with both our competitive team as well as our recreational side for a fun round of clays with everyone!

Most recently, we had our Dad's Weekend Shoot! Several members of the club came down with their dads for a super fun social day! Moms, keep on the lookout, our Mom's Weekend shoot is on April 13th, mark your calendars!

In the meantime, we've been practicing hard, keeping ourselves in top shape for ACUI Collegiate Clay Target Championships this coming March!

What an awesome weekend! We ended up placing 2nd overall for the whole event, and are back in stride for the year! An extra special thanks to our friends and gracious hosts at Purdue Trap & S***t Club and Grace College Shooting Sports Club for running the event and offering their facilities!

We are super excited for the rest of the season, and will see you all in Sparta in two weeks!
