Ladies and gentlemen, fans from both sides… Tonight, something truly special is happening on this field — not just a game, not just a rivalry, but a powerful reminder of what brings us together. Continuing a five-year tradition and as celebration of unity, the Saint Joseph Varsity and Junior Varsity Cheerleaders, the Lakeshore Cheerleaders, the Saint Joe Dance Team, and the Lakeshore Lancerettes are stepping onto the field — not as opponents, but as one team, one community. Through spirit, dance, and teamwork, these students are showing us that even fierce competition can be met with mutual respect, shared passion, and collaboration. This is more than a halftime show. It's a message. A message that unity is strength. That community matters. And that sometimes, the most powerful moves happen off the scoreboard. The dance this evening was choreographed by the Saint Joseph Varsity and Junior Varsity Sideline Cheer Coach: Kelsie Hoffmann. Please give a warm round of applause as our rival teams come together — to dance as one, and to celebrate the spirit of togetherness that lives beyond the rivalry.

Thank you to Wendy's for inviting us to the Saint Joseph location’s Grand Re-Opening!! The SJHS Varsity and Junior Varsity Sideline Cheer teams had so much fun and we can’t wait to get a frosty!! Happy Homecoming 2025!!!

Proud coach moment!! We are SO PROUD of each of our Varsity and Junior Varsity Sideline Cheer student athletes!!! From busy practices this week, to our traditional pep rally dance with dance partners from other SJ sports, to greeting game attendees, to welcoming the Gull Lake Cheer team, to the football game, and to your halftime routine, all leading to a BEAR WIN, you lit up the sidelines and kept up the positive energy in the stadium!

Last night was everything you worked for this summer and this season. With over 50 cheers, dances to band tunes, tumbling, pyramid stunts, and halftime routines, you have worked so hard and you left it all on the track!!

Congratulations to our wonderful teams on a successful evening and homecoming!! LET’S GO BEARS!!

Homecoming Pep Rally 2025! A huge shout out and thank you to each student athlete who danced with us! We are so happy to keep this 9-year tradition alive and this year we had so many SJ sports represented in this group - Football, Basketball, Tennis, Track, and more!! It was so wonderful to see these student athletes come together to have fun and show off their dance moves and Bear Pride! 🐻🎉🪩

Rocket Cheer and Dance Camp: August 25th, 26th, 28th, and September 2nd, and September 4th @ SJHS from 6 - 7:00pm.
Program Investment: $140 - includes new uniform, or $110 - if you have a uniform from 2024.
Fee covers: 2025 Team bow, Team uniform (if needed), Team pom-poms, Two-Week Instructional Camp, Varsity Future Bear Game Night, in addition to Rocket Football Cheer Season games!

Registration Closes: Friday, August 1st, 2025 - SPACE IS LIMITED
Payment due by: Saturday, August 2nd, 2025 (to allow for adequate timing for equipment orders) - Payments must be given directly to Varsity Sideline Cheer Coaches or mailed to 4722 Vince Court, Saint Joseph, MI. Cash and Checks are accepted - checks must be made out to Saint Joseph Public Schools.

**Kindly note that payment must be received to be included in the equipment order and participate in the two-week instruction. Additionally, the Rocket Cheer Program does not offer refunds or uniform size exchanges.**

Due to school trips, mission trips, and additional travel conflicts, Coach Anna and I have revised the Skills Camp and Tryout dates to July!!
