We’re incredibly grateful to Horizon Cycling and Anderson Ford of St. Joseph for their awesome support of River Bluff Trails Fest 2026! Their love for the outdoors, cycling, and the St. Joseph community helps make events like this possible. Without their support, RBTF simply wouldn’t be the festival it is today!

Since opening its doors in 2012, Horizon Cycling has been a staple in the St. Joseph cycling community, supporting local riders, group rides, trail work, and all the ways we get outside and enjoy our community. 🚲🌳

Shoutout to all of our AMAZING volunteers that came out and helped us give Corby South some much needed love today! We widened and cleaned out the trailhead, added some arrow signs to help direct traffic from the parking lot to the trailhead, and widened a bunch of corridor. If you missed today but still want to help out, let us know and we’ll get you set up with some equipment! 🙌🏼🌳🪚

Another successful Adopt-a-Parkway Trash Pickup Day in the books! 🧤🗑️🌱

Today, we covered the Northwest Parkway from Corby Pond to the Northside Complex/Krug Park entrance. While it wasn’t quite as trashy as we expected (a good problem to have 😎), we still removed 10 bags of garbage from one of the most beautiful stretches in town.

Huge thanks to Emily Shook, Tommy Marietta, and Rhonda Jacobs for helping keep our parkway clean, green, and looking sharp. 💚

Special shoutout to Emily for today’s weirdest find... a shellfish hanging out in the rain overflow on the parkway?! 🦐😂

Seriously though... can anyone explain that one?

Our next cleanup is scheduled for June 13th! Stay tuned for start time and any rainout updates. The plan is to begin at the Northside Complex and work our way toward Corby Pond.✨

🚲To everyone rolling to work today: enjoy the ride, soak up the fresh air, and start your day with a few extra smiles per mile. Wear your helmet, stay visible, follow the rules of the road, and keep the rubber side down.

🚗To our friends behind the wheel: thanks for sharing the road! Please slow down, stay alert for cyclists, and give at least 6 feet when passing. A little extra space goes a long way.❤️

Whether you’re ripping singletrack, cruising parkways, commuting downtown, or just out collecting smiles-per-mile, let’s keep the trails and roads safe for everyone. ✌️

🪧 Road reminders:
• Ride with traffic and obey traffic signs/signals
• Use lights and reflectors when riding at night 🌙💡
• Signal your turns and ride predictably
• Helmets may not be required by law, but your noodle will thank you 🧠⛑️

🚵 MTB etiquette:
• Mountain bikers yield to hikers
• Downhill riders yield to uphill riders

🪧 Urban trail etiquette:
• Cyclists yield to walkers and runners
• Call out “On your left!” when passing 👋
• Slow down around blind corners and crowded areas
