Our Annual April Social Banquet will be Saturday April 25 at the St Johnsbury Elks Lodge at 5:00pm. The event is open to the public and both members and non-members are welcome.
Our guest speaker this year is Wildlife Ecologist Duane Diefenbach who will give a talk about local and short-term deer movements titled: 'All Deer Wander and They Aren't Lost.'
The cost for the meal is $20 per person and you can email or call me to make reservations by Wednesday 4/22. I've attached the flyer for the event so you can all help spread the word.

Learn the basics of turkey hunting with this workshop brought to you by Vermont National Wild Turkey Federation and Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department.

Experienced hunters will share their tips for spring turkey hunting success. Topics covered will include:

1. How to set up your hunting spot (blinds, decoys)
2. What is in your pack? What are you wearing?
3. Vermont turkey hunting laws
4. How to talk turkey

Participants will be provided with snacks and their own turkey call to practice with at home!

2026 Memberships to the Caledonia Forest & Stream Club are available now.

Costs are the same as always: $50 for an Individual membership or $75 for a Family membership +$5 deposit for each new keycard. All 2026 memberships are good for the remainder of 2025 and all of 2026 as well. The easiest way to become a member is to visit one of the 5 area gun shops that sell our memberships.

Memberships are available locally at CCR Sports in St Johnsbury, Lead and Tackle in Lyndonville, The Gun Shop in East Haven, Riteway Sports in Hardwick, and Gateway Sports in Wells River.

For those of you living outside the area, you can print an application off our website, fill it out and mail it into CF&SC, PO Box 603, St Johnsbury, VT 05819 and we will mail membership materials back to you. Please allow at least 2 weeks for your membership materials to arrive. I've attached the form for your use if time is not a factor.

The ranges and parking lots are kept plowed all winter, so please take advantage of your facility and enjoy your membership all year long.

Some of you may not know who Evan Hughes is, but enjoy the rights the rights he fought so hard to protect. Evan spent countless hours reviewing anti hunting and fi****ms bills at the state house. He fought to maintain the Sportsmen Bill of Rights. It is a pleasure to see the recognition for his dedication to our community.
