Riverdale Youth League Community-based program in St. Joe, IN, offering baseball and softball for boys and girls ages 4 1/2 to 15.

⚾️ RYL IS LOOKING FOR A BASEBALL COORDINATOR! ⚾️

Riverdale Youth League is looking for someone who is passionate about baseball, our players, and our community to join the RYL Board as our Baseball Coordinator!

This position plays an important role in keeping our baseball program organized, informed, and moving in the right direction throughout the season.

Baseball Coordinator duties include:

⚾️ Attend RYL Board meetings
⚾️ Attend DSA (DeKalb Sports Association) meetings
⚾️ Coordinate scheduling details and league updates
⚾️ Stay up to date on scheduling conflicts, rescheduling, rainouts, rule changes, and league updates
⚾️ Communicate important information to RYL Board members and baseball coaches
⚾️ Be a positive role model for our players, coaches, and the Riverdale community
⚾️ Assist in continuing to improve and grow the league

💚 And you won’t be doing it alone! 💛

The Baseball Coordinator will have a team of RYL board members and volunteers to help support you throughout the season.

We’re looking for someone who is organized, dependable, communicative, and willing to get involved in helping make Riverdale Youth League the best it can be!

Our 2026 season was a great one, but we’re always looking for ways to make Riverdale Youth League even better. As we begin planning for 2027, we’d love to hear from our parents, volunteers, sponsors, and community members about what went well and where we can improve.

Riverdale’s 12U All-Star Softball Team brought home the Championship last night at Garrett’s Christmas in July Tournament! 🎉

With a strong group of coaches by their side, these girls worked hard and were able to unlock an incredible amount of potential in a short amount of time!!
