The telephone rings, and, since I do custom leather pattern design and leather work, for clients, I answer the telephone, only to that call being another of the scam health benefit calls. So, if I dial back, the result is no such number (umm, Those words are in a country music song, interesting?

So, to the scammer (s) May the Bird of Paradise sit on your nose, and may that bird S*** on your clothes as someone in your life, throws you into a garbage pit.

What is on my mind, as of this time? Listening to the idiotic comments that are being made, this time, about the consumption of meat, from the animals that we raise, as a source of food.

My suggestion is this, all of these idiots need to take their thumb and their forefinger, and pull their sick head from between their butt cheeks.

I am damned if I will give up the eating of meat. God gave us animals to use, as we needed to use them. I am sure that GOD intended that we eat the flesh of these animals. And, that we cook that meat in whatever manner that we can cook it, and some,, that can be eaten without the cooking.

If you are one of those people who do not believe in God, then, I pray that, when you die, your soul goes to the fires of Hell.

What a troubling world we are now living in.

It has become like a mystery story, that has no ending
in sight. One problem comes close to being resolved,
when another problem, slightly different, literally Jumps
"out of the woodwork".

And yet, we, who believe the Holy Words in the Bible, realize that we are now living in the era of Chapter 1 of the Book of Revelation
and we hope that we are ready for that ride, just like a bronc buster has been known to grasp the saddle with both hands before they open that gate, and if he, or she, rides that 8 seconds, there is a reward waiting for them.

Many years ago, when I was in my teenage years, I owned and drove a 1950 Dodge Sport About Roadster. It was basically a Coupe with two doors and on the 1949 model they had roll-up windows. However on the 1950 model the windows were not ones that rolled up and down. Instead, they were clear plastic, in an aluminum frame, which had posts that were held in the door. They were in two parts. The front part had the hinged triangle shaped vent window and the larger part had long curved shape, as the top, and had a straight end and the the long bottom, that had a rubber washer secured to it.
When the top was down, and the windows were stored in the trunk, all you had showing was the wind shield frame. I had a set of 1957 Mercury fender skirts on it, and 'moon disc' hub caps.
I had a white vinyl top on it and had red and white Naugahyde with silver color metal beading between the colors.

It was a real girl catcher.

Sadly, as I was getting into farm livestock hauling, I used it as a trade in on a new pickup truck.

For those who are interested in learning to do leathercraft, I have been involved with leather working/ leather carving, since February 1959, when I was in the Army, stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
In the course of my employment over the years, I was a Tandy Leather store Manager for almost 3 years, and left there to become an Insurance death claim investigator for a major life insurance Company. That worked well enough to have been able to accept early retirement, with full benefits, when I was 54 years old. The company had said that any employee whose age and years of service with them was 65 or greater, could take package.

I grabbed that like a dog grabbing a bone.

I then set up a training program so as to be able to accept and teach students the Art of Saddle Making. I have had students from South Africa, Hawaii and Australia and who each spent the two weeks that I have the training scheduled for. And, if they wanted to stay longer than the two weeks, I permit that, at no extra charge. Why not? They would be making up items that would go into the inventory that then gets a price tag.

We are in the middle of the horse riding hobby or business and equipment is getting hard use.
Before you 'saddle up' the next time, inspect your riding equipment to see if it is still safe to ride.

Cinch straps can go bad. Screws and nails can come loose. Stirrup straps can break. Stirrup buckles can break.

If your saddle has tie strings, they can be worn badly. Conchos come loose.

I accept repairs that are shipped to me by UPS or by the Post Office.

If the fleece on the skirts is badly worn, that can be replaced with genuine sheep wool skins.

what is on my mind? PETA, is the subject. Why is it that, recently, at almost every large equine event, a tragic event happens? Another one today, when a large contingent of that organization assembled.

Sadly, those people all became equal to the Three Stooges and pleaded the Three Stooges act of having seen nothing, having heard nothing or having done anything.

I have been involved in equine events, since I rode my first pony at the age of 3 years, celebrating that Birth Day.

Yes, an untrained horse will act up, and with them not used to being placed under saddle, will quite often rebel, by rearing or bucking, or high kicking with the hind feet, or a combination of all of those acts of rejection.

Today,, another tragic event happened.

So. will pose this question, Why is it that at almost every live animal event where members of PETA attend, tragic events happen?

Can anyone offer an explanation?
