It was a beautiful day on the course. We want to thank everyone for spending the day with us in memory of two great guys. Your support and generosity mean so much to us all. And thank you to all who sponsored a home or who donated just because.

EDITED: I was way off on the price this project will take. For the wood alone - to make it last the longest possible - would be $3,600 and then we are in need of bolts and hardware as well.

The Hunstad family has donated the labor and materials for a much-needed flower bed renovation at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in St. James that was previously shared.

We are now looking for monetary donations to help with another project at the Cemetery. We are looking to completely replace the steps that are on the north end of the Cemetery. But with this project, comes a higher cost of materials, we are figuring around $3,600-$4,000 worth. (Previously stated $1,500) If you are so moved to donate to this cause, please reach out. If more is raised, we will put it towards further upgrades to the Cemetery. Any donation, great or small is welcomed. Pictured are some of the many rotted spots of the steps. We will provide all labor for this project.

Congratulations to this year’s Daron Hunstad Memorial Scholarship recipient. Ryuan Gonzalez. He is perusing further education for electrician. Best of luck to Ryuan. On a side note - I was apparently really happy to present this year!

The Hunstad Family is upgrading and refreshing some landscaping at the Mount Hope Cemetery in St James in memory of Daron and Dennis Hunstad. It is a lot of work but will be such an improvement. We have a little less than half left to complete. Then we will watch it grow. Thank you Susan and Pat for all the planning.

Save the Date: Saturday, August 2nd, 2025. We are gearing up for another great day of friends and family at the 12th Annual Hunstad Memorial Golf Tournament.
