As many of you know we have lost another good one. Our hearts will hurt every time we relive a hunting memory with him or just one of the fun times we had with him. Always let the good memories shine through though! As we go forth please keep Colby’s wife Tanya, his 3 daughters and the rest of his family in prayers. Colby, you will be missed my friend.

We wanted everyone to know that we lost one of the very best outfitting guides there was.

Colby built this business from the ground up with passion, hard work, and the help of so many incredible people along the way. He poured so much of himself into it, and we know there will never be another person who does it quite like he did.

We will continue to put one foot in front of the other and do our very best to carry on and operate Crago Outfitting the way he would have wanted us to.

To all of our friends (clients) who have reached out, called, messaged, prayed for us, and offered your support—thank you. Please know that you were never just someone who came hunting at our place. The relationships built through this business meant so much to Colby, and they mean so much to us.

Once you hunted with us, you became part of our family and forever our friends.

We are incredibly grateful for every one of you. 💙

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! To everyone that has came to the shoots this year and the 92 that showed up this past Saturday! I’m blown away and feel very blessed to have you all come like that! The weather was good, the vibe was great and fun was had! I still need to do the end of the year prize drawings, I haven’t forgotten.
This pig target over the ‘fire’ was one of the favorite shots on Saturday. Which one was your favorite shot?

Don’t be the person that gets a call or text Saturday afternoon telling you that you should have came to the 4J shoot! In all seriousness this is gonna be a fun one folks. I hope you can make it. The course is all set and ready for ya. Sign up is 8-12, adults $15, youth(11-16)$5, ages 10 and under are free. Concessions at the shop and small concessions on the course. I hope to see you tomorrow, I’ve been giddy all week setting this one up and getting it ready!!!!

A few tidbits of information for this Saturday’s shoot.

-we will have the full 30 target course set up with a bonus shot or two.
-shoot fees are adults $15, youth(11-16) $5, ages 10 and under free
-sign up is 8-12
- we will have a prize drawing with all the score cards from the year probably Monday evening when the shop is open.
-there will be a ballon pop set up for the 10 and under kiddos at the shop. Candy and swag for prizes. Everyone will win. All free.
-full concessions at shop(hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks) small concessions on the course(candy bars and drinks)
-the course will be a mowed path marked with orange paint and caution tape, family and stroller friendly
-the shop will be open for business during the shoot
-hopefully we have a parking problem, so there is more parking past the shop. If the driveway is lined on both sides, come on to the shop and I’ll direct you where to go for additional parking
-we will have several (approximately 20)of our 3d targets for sale on a first come first serve basis. Prices will be available Saturday morning. Some a will be at the shop by sign up and some will still be used on the course but can be bought Saturday and picked up after the course is closed for the day or another day. A list of these will be on dry erase board at the sign up. Cash or check on targets.
We are NOT selling these because we are quitting 3d. We are putting the money towards brand new targets for next year, hoping to make the range and experience even better.

I’m fired up! Had a couple days to reset with the family and now it’s time to get down to the business of a 3D shoot. Our last one for the year, this Saturday the 29th. I got back home today and already have been working on the course for this coming weekend. I’ve cut 5 new lanes on a complete new section of course we haven’t ever used in 12 years of shoots. I also have 3 other shots planned for the existing course that we’ve never used before. They’ve been done at other shoots but we will put the 4J spin on them! We will have a bonus shot or two also. We have something special planned for the kids too! A special fun shoot at the shop for all little ones. No bow, no problem, we will loan the kiddos one! More details as the week goes……..

Bow season is getting closer and it’s time to get some reps in with your equipment. No better way than a 3D! This weekend, the 22nd, Fuller Shooting Competitions over in Belle is the place to be. Time to shoot!

This Saturday the 22nd is our last 3D Shoot of the year. We have given Liam McDaniel the green light to set the targets on the course. It’s shaping up to be a dandy. Just in time for a pre-bow season warmup!
