Jim was challenged to restore a very very old rod. H**p cord for butt grip and windings, wood shaft and all brass fittings. Agate guides with pewter frames.

He did a great job restoring with guides purchased on line from a dealer in Hawaii, h**p cord from a craft specialty store, polish and hard work ! Check out before pics, after are in comments

Jims been very busy. Finished a roll tide ! Two piece for our Alabama family to auction off for charity, an electric green rod for a new company in Texas, and a great shark because I love them . This week he will be making a sweet rod for a special little boy, Landon . We aren’t going to spoil the surprise, will post after his birthday!
