Got it done at 7:15 this morning. I'm certain the good Lord was by my side for this hunt, I couldn't have asked for a better morning.

He was fired up right off the roost but wouldn't commit. After a wild first 30 minutes of daylight, I made a move and crawled toward him, only to have him slip back around behind me. Had to adjust and call him back from where he started.

I could go on and on about this hunt, but I'll save you the long version. Just thankful for mornings like this and the chance to be out there hunting turkeys.

Huge thank you to The Light Foundation for the opportunity to guide at this year’s youth turkey hunt. It was an absolute blast.

I really enjoyed getting to share my knowledge out in the woods with the next generation, and at the same time learning a few things myself from guides who have been doing this for years.

Opening day was one to remember. We had 10 toms and 1 jake on the ground by 10am. By Sunday, we wrapped up the weekend with 14 birds total. 11 toms and 3 jakes. These kids did a phenomenal job!

I truly appreciate everything that went into making this event happen, and I’m already looking forward to next year. 🦃

I’ve been absolutely blown away by the sales and feedback these past 2 weeks. I honestly never thought I’d be bought out of stock like that.

I’m working hard to keep up with orders and rebuild inventory as fast as I can. Thank you to everyone who’s purchased and shared the positive feedback it truly means a lot.

Rest easy Mr.Fox 🦊

It is with heavy hearts that we share that our beloved Mr. Fox has flown up to his heavenly roost. Mr. Fox passed peacefully in his home, with his wife Evelyn and three children, Shurley, Toxey and Nina, by his side. His house was full of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren until the day he died, and through his bedroom window, turkeys and deer still passed through his backyard hardwoods.

While we continue to find the words to honor his incredible life and legacy, for now, we remember the words of Mr. Fox:

“I believe it’s important to take care of the things we love. My friends ask me what a man my age is doing planting hardwoods. I believe the good that men do will live long after they’re gone.”

In the form of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, through Mossy Oak, around West Point, in the woods and in the hunting world, the good he did will live long after he’s gone.

"Beside them the birds of the heavens dwell; they sing among the branches… the earth is satisfied with the fruit of your work." Psalm 104:12-13
