Well, the 2024 season certainly didn’t go as planned…
but when you spin, you gotta recover. When you break, you rebuild. When you fail, you learn. You have to keep a good attitude, lest that loose nut behind the wheel be the reason you crash.

The season started and ended with blown motors. Mid season I took out a water barrier and managed to get all four wheels off the ground. I also achieved many Top 10’s, some Top 5’s, and even led a few laps! A serious improvement over my rookie season!

I’m grateful to have had some great drivers and crew at the tracks. I truly appreciate the sportsmanship, perspective, and competition from the likes of drivers Jay Elliott, Cameron Stark, Bryson Smith, Anthony Pope, Kyle Pope, and so many more, and the support in the pits from Adam Smith, Dawn Wilson, and Dayna Barnes

I couldn’t have done nearly as much as I accomplished without the support of my family. Their encouragement and non-stop cheering kept me going! Thank you Dan Lael, Jeanette Lael, Shannon Pugh, Ed Pugh, Nancy Bishop Wallace, Shelby Wallace, and William Wallace.

To keep us busy in the off season in preparation for the 2025 season, BRE will be building another motor and reskinning the car. We expect to show up strong and looking good! We wouldn’t do it if it weren’t for the fans and we can’t do it without your help!

BRE has shirts and hats for sale to help support the team’s efforts, $25ea. Message us (or call/text me!) with your size and preferred color.

Even while battling overheating issues all day, the 96B was able to battle the field of 17 from a P9 start to a P5 finish in the main event at Grays Harbor Raceway on Saturday. Sunday rained out, so the crew and kids found some bluer skies to have burgers and brownies.
