Homework!!!

When I was a kid, I'd spend hours staring at my own eyes. Find myself a mirror, prop myself up and just stare at these eyes that watched me back.
I tried to do it the other day....
Oh man!!! That mind was talking and making up stories and trying to get me all involved with them, whether I liked or didn't like, using emotion and memory... ah, the trap....
So I'll continue with my practice and start with gratitude as I stare into my eyes.

I think it's a good practice to keep on with 🙏

This made me think about that "old burdensome practice of judging" a term i heard from Ram Dass....
This is something that will come to my mind if that old judges comes out to say something. 🙏
We don't know other people's stories or "floatation" devices.
