Each driver runs the course BOTH directions — clockwise and counterclockwise. Combine the times, and the fastest team takes the win!

Then there’s one more shot at bragging rights. Each team chooses one driver for an additional FAST LAP in the direction of their choice. Fastest lap of the day takes the award!

UTV Pro's presents the 3rd Annual UTV Challenge at Trail Hero, organized by TREAD Off-Road Expo and sponsored by OBOR Tires!

This year, we’re changing things up with the:

FLIP FLOP TEAM UTV CHALLENGE

Two-driver teams will battle the clock in a relay race with a twist. Each driver has to attack the course TWICE — once clockwise and once counterclockwise — before handing it off to their teammate.

That means twice the racing, twice the action, and plenty of opportunities to see who can keep it together when we FLIP the course and FLOP the direction!

The past two years have been an absolute riot for racers and spectators, and year three is shaping up to be even better.

Come out, pick a team to cheer for, watch some UTVs get put to the test, and see who walks away as the 2026 Flip Flop Team UTV Challenge Champions!

TREAD Off-Road Expo presents the 3rd Annual UTV Challenge at Trail Hero!

This year, UTV PRO'S steps up as our Title Sponsor, with OBOR TIRES returning for the third straight year to help us bring another year of racing, competition, and absolute chaos to the course!

The last two years have been an absolute riot, so we’re bringing the TEAM format back again — but with a FLIP FLOP twist.

THE FLIP FLOP TEAM UTV CHALLENGE

This is a timed two-driver relay race, but this year each driver has to conquer the course BOTH DIRECTIONS.

Driver #1 takes off and runs the course clockwise. After crossing the start/finish line, they immediately FLIP FLOP and run it counterclockwise. Once they cross the line again, Driver #2 takes over and does the same thing.

Fastest combined team time wins!

After talking about it for a long time, we finally did it...

We’ve launched TREAD Talk

TREAD Talk is where we'll be sharing conversations from across the off-road community throughout the year. Whether we're sitting down with industry leaders, visiting shops, fabricators or manufactures, covering events, checking out new products, or just talking trail stories, our goal is simple—to celebrate everything that makes off-roading more than just a hobby. It's a passion. It's a culture.

We'll be featuring recurring series like:

• TREAD Talk – Conversations, opinions, and stories from the people who live the off-road lifestyle.
• Event Talk – Coverage before, during, and after off-road events.
• Industry Spotlight – Meet the brands, products, and people shaping the off-road industry.
• What's New – New products, industry news, announcements, and first impressions.
• Trail Legends – Stories and interviews with the people who have helped build the off-road community.

Year 2 of the TREAD Off-Road Expo is officially in the books!

What an unbelievable weekend. Every year this expo gets bigger and better, and it’s because of every single one of you.

First, a huge thank you to our incredible sponsors who believe in our vision and help make this event possible.motorsports .gas .moose

Without your support, none of this happens.

To all of our vendors who traveled from all across the country to be here—thank you for trusting us, supporting our mission, and bringing your passion to Southern Utah.

To every attendee who came through the doors, thank you for showing up, supporting our vendors, finding amazing deals, checking out incredible builds, and simply having a great time with us.

A huge shoutout to our volunteers and the Dixie Convention Center team. The countless hours behind the scenes before the doors ever open are what make this event possible.

What makes TREAD special is that it’s more than an expo—it’s a family. It’s the off-road industry coming together, putting competition aside, sharing stories, building friendships, and celebrating the lifestyle we all love.

One of the things that makes the TREAD Off-Road Expo special is the people behind it.

Here's Nick Chavez from Ultimate Performance UTV doing what he does best—making everyone feel welcome and part of the event. Whether he's catching up with vendors, meeting attendees, or just sharing a laugh, Nick has a way of bringing people together and helping build the off-road community we all love.

If there was a contest for the most likable people in off-road, these two would probably end up in a dead heat.

Nick with Ultimate Performance UTV is a master at building the off-road community in New Mexico, while Rob with TREAD Off-Road Expo has been doing the same right here in Utah. Different states, different styles, but the same passion for bringing people together and growing the sport we all love.

These two aren't just leaders in the off-road world—they're pillars of the community. They support the industry, encourage newcomers, and help keep the off-road family united.

Off-road is better because of people like Nick and Rob. 👊🏁
