👏👏 The TMAC Tyler Mc making it happen & lots of other great folks!!! So stoked to hear this is finally happening!!
📅 It's been years in the making! This project started in 2023 and will be accessible to pedal and pedal-assisted bicycles.
🚴♂️ Local Hurricane Valley Bike Pro, Tyler McCaul has partnered with Hurricane City to reconstruct the Spilsbury Sports Park bike track. Tyler is spearheading this project in partnership with the City, and has graciously donated his sponsorship funds, in the amount of $20,000 from Ford Bronco Wild Fund to rebuild the bike track. Greater Zion has also granted $15,000 for this project and Hurricane City contributed $25,000 to bring the total to $60K. Additionally, Sensus Rad Trails, a non-profit organization specializing in bike park construction, is contracted to build the park. The City is also engaging local volunteers and actively seeking further funding for site preparation, fill dirt, block materials, and fencing.
🌟 This project represents a unique investment in youth recreation, unlike any other facility currently available on the east side of Washington County. We anticipate demolition and reconstruction to take place over a one-month period in the fall of 2025.
👀 Stay tuned for further progress updates and opportunities to volunteer!
