🏆 That’s a wrap on the Spring ‘26 Season for Red Rock Hockey! 🏆

Saturday marked our final event of the season as teams from across the league came together in Las Vegas for our League Championship Games. What an incredible way to close out an unforgettable season of ball hockey. ❤️🏒

From first-time players finding confidence, to intense championship battles, to families filling the sidelines every week — this season was built by an amazing community. Thank you to all of our players, parents, coaches, referees, volunteers, sponsors, and fans who helped make Spring ‘26 so special.

We’re proud of how much this league continues to grow in both St. George and Las Vegas, and we can’t wait to see everyone back out at the rink next season. 🙌

👏🏒 Outstanding Referee Award — James Valpey 🏒👏

This season, we want to recognize someone who stepped far outside of their comfort zone and took on one of the toughest jobs in the game — officiating.

Congratulations to James Valpey, our Spring ’26 Outstanding Referee Award winner! ⭐

In his very first season as a referee, James showed incredible courage by signing up and stepping onto the rink as one of the youngest officials in our league. From day one, he took great pride in the responsibility that comes with wearing the stripes.

His eagerness to learn, willingness to improve, and commitment to growing each week did not go unnoticed. Officiating isn’t always easy, especially at a young age, but James handled the challenge with maturity, determination, and a positive attitude all season long.

Thank you, James, for helping make Red Rock Hockey possible. The future is bright, and we’re proud to have you as part of our community. ❤️🏒👏

This season’s Henwood Community Hero Award goes to Blake Haggerty! 👏

Blake and his family’s company, Haggerty Construction, were incredible assets in helping update and complete our new rink. Their hard work, generosity, and support helped turn this project into something truly special for our hockey community.

Because of people like Blake and the team at Haggerty Construction, our players have a place to learn, compete, and create lifelong memories. Their contribution will have an impact on Red Rock Hockey families for years to come.
