The Ginger Runner Global Run (also known as GRGR) is an annual virtual event for all runners of all abilities from anywhere in the world! It’s the Ginger runner's way of celebrating their amazing community and encouraging everyone to get outside, push their limits and enjoy the global connection.

GRGR 2021 will take place over 7 days, SEPTEMBER 6-12, 2021. Each day will have a different individual surprise challenge with an overall weekly goal of running a combined 24,901 miles around the world!

Split Perfection... On his sub 2:00:00 marathon during the fall of 2019, ran 5k splits to absolute perfection! Granted, he had a pace team but still the performance was phenomenal.

5k splits = 14:10, 14:10, 14:14, 14:12, 14:12, 14:12, 14:13, 14:13

The GOAT of marathon Running took Gold! Kipchoge delivered a crushing blow to the rest of the field just before the 30-kilometer mark. Kipchoge surged and pulled away from the pack starting at mile 19, running a 14:28 5k in the process.

Recovery is the single most important part of any exercise or training program. Without proper recovery our body cannot rebuild to strengthen itself from the hard workouts we’ve completed.
