Fall season is upon us!

Trainings are back on. Stats are being recorded. Moving into dorm rooms, school schedules are set up. Maybe you are wondering if off season training was enough? How much play time you will get etc.

Not everything will go as planned.
And that’s okay. You can feel prepared and confident even when things are out of your control.

I’m a mental performance coach for athletes. Teaching you tools to create confidence in your sport and life.

It all translates. When you feel feel less confident in your spotty, it’s shows in life and vice versa.

Here are 3 confidence Tips you can use right now going into Fall👇🏽

♦️STEP BACK, learn to be an observer of your thoughts and question if they are true or an opinion.

♦️NOTICE how you feel and write down what thought is creating it.

♦️ASK how you want to feel instead and decide what you can currently believe to serve you more.

Your confidence will increase when you learn to trust yourself more and your performance will follow!

This might shock you, but⬇️

Not everything in your life needs to revolve around being the best athlete.

The funny part is.
Once you get good at acknowledging your own needs , feeling all your feelings and serving you. The rest just comes easy. You naturally become a better athlete because you are able to release what no life her serves you and have confidence to decide what does.
Then live into it.

Who are you spending the most time with?

Surround yourself with people who:

🔸want you to succeed.
🔸will support your pipe dreams.
🔸who have dreams of their own.

I went to a womens conference the last 2 days and stayed in a home with 10 women. I met only one of them in person a few days before.

I connected with people who also had dreams which we have all probably doubted at some time or another.

Listen. If you want to be the best athlete or have a dream that has nothing to do with your athletic abilities.

First believe it’s a possibility.
Write it down.
Write down what you are doing to bring you closer and see what you can take out of your schedule.

Tell your people you trust and create your support group.

Find your support. Your coach. Your team.

Then notice the doubt and do it anyway.

STOP CHASING PERFECTION.

It’s holding you back.

When setbacks happen, instead of seeing failure as a judgement. See it as an opportunity for growth.

And

GET BACK UP.

This is what will set you apart.

Replace judgement with curiosity and compassion and notice your mind will find solutions over defeat.

We are hearing more and more of athletes experiencing ENOUGH.

For some we hear the news after their lives have been lost and others have survived to tell their story.

How many are still sitting silent?

Thank you to those who are sharing.

My message to athletes:

You don’t need to do this alone.
Your story isn’t isolated.
Your vulnerability will bring growth.
You are not weak.
Your life is worth living.

You don’t have to wait for it to get “bad” before you seek support.
