Meet the mind behind the movement.

My journey to Xclusive Athletics. At the age of 8 years old, Coach Mya got involved in the sport of cheerleading. From there, her love for cheer and sports in general grew into something more than she could ever imagine.. Fast forward to college, she recognized her love of mental health (psychology) and sports and the combination of the two in the world of Sport Psychology. She graduated from the University of South Carolina- Upstate with her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. After college, she returned to her hometown and became a cheerleading coach at her alma mater high school. This is where she decided that she wanted to start her own athletic business. Xclusive Athletics came to the forefront. From speaking to the youth and holding cheer camps, she was committed to building her new athletic brand and gaining valuable experiences and more knowledge. She went onto grad school where she dived deeper in the world of psychological knowledge and athletic development. Coach Mya graduated from Capella University with her Master of Science degree in Psychology with a concentration of Sport Psychology, only 2 years after receiving her bachelors. Coach Mya is committed to building her brand to help out the youth, young adults, and professional athletes along their athletic careers. Here’s to the start of a new era of athletic xcellence.
