This Senior class is so awesome! They have dedicated time, energy, and effort to improving their volleyball skills and taking our volleyball program to the next level! We all will miss them dearly and are so incredibly proud and confident in them as they each move on to the next chapters in their lives.

In the meantime, there is still more season ahead of us and more opportunities to see this entire team continue move the needle!

CHANGE OF VENUE ANNOUNCEMENT:

The St. Francis Varsity Volleyball team is playing in the 2024 Blandino Invite this Saturday, 9/14. Originally the invite was scheduled to be at West Allis Hale with the first match beginning at 9 AM. The venue for the 2024 Blandino Invite has changed and will now be at Burlington High School in Burlington, WI.

Burlington High School Address: 400 McCanna Pkwy, Burlington, WI 53105

First match will still be at 9 AM.

What a way to kick off the 2024 St. Francis volleyball season! Your St. Francis Mariner Varsity Volleyball team began the season winning our own St. Francis Mariner Invite (3-0) in impressive fashion! Shout out to the team and their strong start to the season. We are excited to build on this success throughout the season.

We cannot wait for all of the support from our fans and the community as we play out this season and look forward to seeing you all at our next home matchup Thursday, 9/5 as we take on Racine St. Catherine’s!

We are honored for the Sportsmanship Award nomination from the Wisconsin High School Volleyball Officials Association. It is a true testament to all of our volleyball players in our SFHS program for how they carry themselves on and off of the court. We are continuing to build the volleyball program rooted in academic excellence, respect for one another, a high-level of volleyball play, and the pride of representing St. Francis.

Cannot wait to see the community come out and support our girls in the 2024 season!

Congratulations to the High School girls volleyball team and Coach Andre Ghlefi-Thomas on their nomination for the 2023 WHSVOA Sportsmanship Award! 🏐🏆 Their outstanding sportsmanship and positive impact on others truly make them deserving of this recognition.

One member shared the following:

“The head coach kept everything positive and the girls kept playing to the best of their ability. The coach did an amazing job and properly motivating his team and was very respectful to the officials all match long.”

Your St. Francis High School Volleyball team gutted out a great WIN last night and started the season on a winning note!

See you all tonight for our very own Mariner Invite starting at 4:30 PM at the St. Francis High School Gym. We will be playing St. Augustine Prep at 4:30, Cudahy at 5:30, and Cristo Rey at 6:30. Come out and cheer on this great group!
