For years, I thought reaching more families meant getting bigger. More instructors. More lessons. More kids. More space.
And then I had to close my facility and go back to teaching from my backyard pool. What felt like getting smaller ended up showing me something much bigger…
Maybe I didn’t need to teach every child myself.
Maybe I needed to teach their parents.
So I started taking everything I’d learned from teaching thousands of children and breaking it down into simple steps parents could use with their own kids at home. And somehow, from this little backyard pool in Florida, I’ve now helped parents in Germany, Switzerland, Canada, and all across the United States teach their babies swim skills. 🥹
I’ve even helped an instructor in India learn how to work with little ones under 2. THAT is something I never could have done from inside the four walls of my facility. Life was too busy there.
Sometimes God changes the path without changing the mission for a reason. I’m still here teaching kids. Still raising my own babies in the water. But now this little backyard pool is reaching families farther than I ever imagined. 🤍
