Not one more child drowning. 🤍

Florida continues to see heartbreaking drowning tragedies involving both local families and visitors from all over the world.

Whether you live in Florida, plan to visit, or live somewhere else, teaching your child water safety skills is SO important.

Drowning can happen in seconds. Teach your children to swim, learn CPR, and always have layers of protection in place such as pool fences.

We can’t predict every emergency, but we CAN prepare our children.

Kids don’t always do what you expect in swim lessons…
And honestly? That’s normal.

Some cry. Some cling. Some swallow water. Some surprise you by suddenly “getting it” one day.

Learning to swim as a baby or toddler is emotional, physical, and overwhelming at times. But progress is rarely perfectly linear.

The goal is not perfection on Day 1. The goal is building real skills, respect for water, and confidence over time.

And one thing parents NEED to understand: confidence can outpace skill very quickly in toddlers.
That’s why consistency, supervision, and continued practice matter so much.

No child is drown proof. But layers of protection save lives.

Save this if your child’s swim journey hasn’t looked “perfect” or you’re about to embark on the swim lesson journey!

We can’t always be there to hold their hands, but we can prepare them for the moments when we have to let go.

Teach them. Guide them. Give them the skills to grow confident and independent, in the water and in life.

Babies are capable of so much more than most people realize. 🤍

The sooner children begin building skills around water, the more time they have to develop confidence, breath control, muscle memory, and safety habits.
Never underestimate what a 1-year-old can learn.

These numbers are hard to read, but parents NEED to know them. 🤍

I don’t share this stuff to scare parents. I share it because I’ve spent the last 10 years around little kids and water, and I know how quickly things can happen.

Teach your babies to actually swim. Teach them where AIR is. Teach them to float, get to the wall or steps, and get themselves out.

And PLEASE remember, swim skills are only one layer. Watch your babies. Use barriers. Have a water watcher. Use proper life jackets when needed. Learn CPR.

No child is drown-proof. But the more tools we can give them, the better. 🤍

This video makes me laugh, but I really love this man so much.🤍

From the VERY beginning, when we had basically no money to our name and I decided I wanted to take out a $10,000 loan just to get certified and chase this crazy idea… he was there.
And he’s been there ever since.

Through all the pools. The businesses. The babies. The golf tournaments. The fun. The absolute CHAOS. He’s always been the guy behind the scenes handling the stuff nobody wants to do. Checking pools in the middle of the night. Fixing whatever broke. Moving things. Building things. Finding sponsors. Saving seats. And now apparently pushing a giant check around the rodeo all night because… where else were we supposed to put it while we ran around having fun watching the rodeo? 🤣

That WonderFold became one VERY expensive wagon real quick. 😂

He’s never the one in the limelight. But so much of what I’ve been able to build has happened because I’ve had this guy quietly standing beside me through all of it.

I wouldn’t have been able to come this far, be the mom I always dreamed of being AND chase the dreams on my heart without him.

So yeah… the lottery is nice, but I’d choose the man who will stand beside you while you build your crazy dreams all day. 🤍
Even if he bi***es a little while doing it. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤪😂
