Swimming isn’t a one-and-done skill. 🤍
After a basic training program, refresher, or even my Teach Your Child to Swim course, the goal is to keep practicing.
Swimming progress is a rollercoaster uphill. There will be growth, plateaus, and even some regression. That’s completely normal.
The best swimmers aren’t the ones who learned a skill once—they’re the ones who continue practicing it.
That’s why I recommend maintaining swim skills at least once a week, whether through lessons, practice at home, or both.
And if your child has been out of the water for a few months, a refresher can help rebuild confidence before returning to maintenance.
Consistency is where confidence is built. 🤍
