Coming in hot with some spectacular, spooky tea lights!

These ghostly tea lights offer three layers of different types of wax that include the traditional yellow honey wax at the base, an activated charcoal infused wax in the center and a beautiful virgin white wax at the top.
I then added swirls of activated charcoal in the end, which gave it a greenish and black hue for some .
I have additionally sprinkled crushed black tourmaline and added in frankincense and myrrh.
Test burning them today and so far one tea light has lasted A good 4 hours and still going with a beautiful clean burn and smokeless flame.

When burning beeswax tea lights, you can leave the wicks for the first burn, but then you need to blow them out about halfway through to then trim the wick in half.
This allows, you a shorter cooler flame and a slower burn rate and it’s much safer when you trim your wicks.
NEVER burn a beeswax tea light in its entirety, with the original wick length as they can get very hot and the candle will have a shorter life.❤️

These spooky little Halloween tea lights came out spectacular and will be available during our Halloween online event TBA.

Check out this large Imperial Moth!

This type of moth is actually becoming more rare to see because their numbers are declining due to pesticides, insecticide and herbicides in commercial farming.
In Florida, and a few other southern states, a few adults will emerge in the late summer.
A cool fact is that the oak tree is one of their hosts  and that the female will fly away up high into the tree and call out for a mate with using sent signals.
The male imperial moth use their large feather antennas to catch the scent up to several miles away.
This guy flew away just after taking the photo and it went straight up high into the oak trees! 
This one is a real beauty!

We offer an excellent eye makeup remover!

 This is a staple in my cabinet in the bathroom and use a cotton round with a full dropper full to remove mascara, eye liner and make up around the eyes.
It works for water proof and multiple mascara layers.
I prefer to use this product around my eyes instead of soap or cleansers as it is minimal effort on that delicate eye area.

Happy Tuesday!

We made it to the Winter Garden Farmers Market!

Very impressed with the set up with a really good flow of vendors and people.
Tons of shade, greenery, places to sit, a splash pad, a garden green to play on and very high-quality vendors.
I would highly recommend doing a day trip.
It was a 45 minute drive to get there from St. Cloud and only took us just under 40 minutes to get home with an easy drive.
Two huge fruit and vegetable vendors with one of them being completely organic and the other one with a mix of organic and local harvesting.
Micro greens, Real coconut water, pressed juices, specialty coffee, cheese, tons of baked goods, sourdough bread, jerky, fresh caught seafood, 
Meats, milk, plants, food trucks and some very high quality crafts.
Parking was easy with 2 parking lots and side streets.
The market is from 8 AM to 1 PM and then take a stroll around downtown and enjoy some of the really neat boutique shops and restaurants.
Public restrooms in the middle with easy access and well kept.
Very clean, very safe, very friendly and courteous people!

Glass jars are a staple as an herbalist as well as vessels for honey.
I do love an antique ball jar and I find it so interesting on how long these things last.
I have several jars that date from the early 1900s and I use them to store fun things in for display.

We were recently gifted several boxes of vintage glass jars from an elderly gentleman, and I’ve had some fun researching the age of the jars ❤️

Some of these unique jars are 60 to almost 90 years old!

Love My Face facial roller is back in stock.

We had a request for a larger 1 ounce roller and so I made an extra one just incase anyone else wanted a larger size.

I personally have been using this blend for almost a year now. My “mature” skin sometimes acts immature 🤪 and when your my age…the skin just goes wonky when it wants. 🫣

As you age…. you’ve got to spend a bit more time with your skin care if you want keep up with the changes. 
The first five years after menopause is when you’re really going see some weirdness because you lose a large amount of your collagen, your estrogen levels continuously drop and constant shifts in your skins pH.
The already sensitive skin on your face starts to show even more sensitivity and is easily irritated.
And then you throw in the factors of hot weather, cold weather, stress, eating habits and any vitamin and mineral deficiencies.
You will find that your tried and true habits don’t seem to work anymore.

I absolutely keep the lavender facial serum and the calendula detox serum in my bathroom cabinet, but I have been supplementing with this roller ball in the evening.
I have just recently taken a one week break, ( not on purpose 🤣) and boy did my face have something to say.

I originally used it in problem prone areas… Fine lines, between the brows, upper cheeks, and then my entire neck.
My face then became greedy and insisted on doing a full coverage in the evening. 
I can definitely tell the difference when I wasn’t using it with the fine lines being more obvious to me and the hydration of my skin.
I’ve been working a lot of hours outdoors this summer and it’s been unbelievably hot and humid and that takes a huge toll on mature skin for sure.
This blend has made a huge difference for me.
One area in particular started concerning me, and that was my forehead… I was starting to see some fine lines or at least creases not going away?  It was probably how the sun was hitting my forehead ( yes with sunscreen )and with me squinting in the bright light outside, but I can honestly tell you that they are gone! 😱

This was a fun treatment product that I introduced to everyone, I believe last February? It is most definitely going to stay in stock full-time. 💪🏻
