Start BJJ Minnesota Gracie affiliated Brazilian Jiujitsu School for kids and adults. We also offer Muy Thai Kickboxing.

Martial Arts Academy for men, women, and kids of all ages and skill levels. We offer Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Self Defense, Thai Kickboxing, and Mixed Martial Arts. Professor Brock Larson, a black belt under Dave Camarillo, is the lead instructor. Professor Brock is an 11 time UFC/WEC fighter and has competed for multiple world titles.

Congratulations again to one of our leaders on the mats Taner “killem quick” Trembley, he went into this fight with his whole heart and it sure showed.

Waking up to see him making headlines is so humbling and fills us with immense pride. If there’s anyone who truly deserves this incredible opportunity, it’s this guy.

DWCS has had Dana offer 7 guys contracts off of losses over a duration of 9 years and 10 seasons.

START bjj holds two of those 7.

Our guys put in hard rounds, their team shows daily that they’re willing to push each other to the distance, willing to come in for just one round to help sharpen their teammates. They’re the guys who will drive 5 hours to help a teammate train and prepare for a battle. We even have regular hobbyists who will hop on the mats to make sure these guys get the work they need, but certainly not least, we have a team willing to take the hits, listen to the advice, make adjustments and constantly work to better themselves and the people around them, that’s the real dream.

This isn’t the last DWCS, the UFC or the world will see of team START.
