Quick truth about carb work that saves a lot of headaches:

OEM jets like Keihin and Mikuni's are built right to exacting specifications, and perform perfectly consistent from bike to bike. When they get dirty, they can usually be cleaned and reused back to spec with proper ultrasonic cleaning and service.

Those cheap Amazon jet kits? Hit or miss at best. Wrong sizing, poor machining, inconsistent fuel flow… and you end up chasing tuning problems that never should’ve existed.

A proper rebuild isn’t about throwing random parts at it—it’s about cleaning, measuring, and setting it up the right way the first time.

’07 Honda VTX1300 with an aftermarket intake and exhaust… and a carb setup that was NOT happy about it.

This one was a tuning fight—off-idle stumble, rich in one spot, lean in another. Classic “it should run good but doesn’t” combo.

We went through the carb, dialed the jetting, and sorted the fuel curve until it cleaned up everywhere.

Now it pulls smooth, starts easy, and runs the way a VTX should. 🔥🏍️

21 years of sitting turned this ’83 Honda Nighthawk 650 into a varnished-up brick. The carbs were completely sealed shut—fuel turned to glue, passages blocked, nothing moving.

Full teardown. Ultrasonic cleaning. Carb rebuild.
