Hunting Season is finally here!! In FL it starts with Alligators. Deer season stats in two weeks. Soon to follow my favorite Quail Season!! Lots to come from Sterndog Hunts this season. Sterndog Hunts - ISO Full time Guides & Contract Guides

Looking for: Quail Hunting Guides
Season: Nov. - March
Location: Central Florida
Guide Pay: $200 - $300 per hunt plus tips. Full time Guide will average 100 hunts per season.
Housing: Guide Housing Available
Kennels: Kennels on site and Available

Guide Requirements - Each guide must have *

Buggy - Guide Buggy - Polaris or Can AM prepared with dog box.
Dog String - Poining Dogs and Flushing Dogs. It is the guides responsibility to own and maintain your own dog string.
Equipment - E-Collars and all tools needed to handle your Dogs.
Insurance - must have required insurance. Main policy is provided by Sterndog Hunts. Guides must have liability coverage on machine.

Sterndog Hunts services multiple private clubs in Central Florida. We specialize in quail hunting for private clubs. We are going into our 9th season and we are looking for more Full time guides and even a contract guide or two. This operation is growing. We are looking for a few good men and dogs to complement the team.

This season to get the dogs in shape for the quail season we headed out west. We started our hunt in a spot called "The Bean Field". Last season our greatest dog of all time Sterndog Kennels, Sterndog Norton's Salty Jeans Bean passed away in this field doing what she loved. This season this field was the first field we hunted. Every dog we put on the ground was Bean's offspring. Bean has 100% passed on her legacy. This was a epic hunting trip with brothers George & Geoff Sterner, along with Ava Jean Sterner. Epic in every way.
