🐑🐓🐐🐰🐷 Athletes, do you love farm animals? 🐷🐰🐐

Have you ever wanted to pet a goat, learn about a pig, or snuggle a soft, cuddly rabbit? Then this opportunity is for you!

You will be paired with a 4-H mentor who will teach you about caring for and handling an animal. Together, you’ll learn all about your chosen animal and prepare to “show” it in the County Fair show ring!

No experience is needed—just a willingness to learn, have fun, and spend time with some amazing animals.

Come make new friends, gain confidence, and experience the excitement of the County Fair!

The Champion in Me provides individuals with developmental disabilities the opportunity to showcase their talents, build confidence, and create lasting memories through hands-on livestock experiences at the Belmont County Fair.

Mentees may participate with multiple species, including:
• Lambs
• Goats
• Hogs
• Rabbits
• Poultry

What a day yesterday for the Belmont Eagles and the Tuscarwas Rocket.
Belmont hosted their first track meet in ages. All the smiles proved it was a success.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped our meet run smoothly (for the most part) yesterday. We appreciate each one of you. Coaches, athletes, timers, score keepers, announcer, spectators, volunteers, St. Clairsville, athletics, and everyone in between, we couldn’t do it without you! ❤️
