We offer two float trips at Old Cove Canoe both start up stream and float back to your car. The Short float is 4.5 miles and the long float (starts before 11:00 am) is 9 miles and last 5-6 hours minimum. We have plenty of gravel bars and bluffs to enjoy along the way. Our stretch of the Meramec is all stream, creek, and spring fed. We only offer private party (10 or more) or organizational grou

p camping. Our campsites are all riverside and come with a pavilion, porta potty, picnic tables, chairs, and party size charcoal grill. Old Cove Canoe is located less than one hour from St. Louis and offers great floats, excellent service, and reasonable prices.

Greetings Everyone,

We have had inquires into when we will open Old Cove Canoe & Kayak for the season, the short answer is mid to late June at the earliest.
The real answer is; we just don’t know. What we do know is we are in an unimaginable situation with the COVID-19 virus and the current guidelines for a business to open.
We as small business can not conform or adapt to all these “social distancing” rules and regulations in place right now, we hope you understand our situation, and our goal in protecting your safety. Please check our website for any new updates.
