We are back! (Mr. Moody has been slacking posting pics! 😬) Just wanted to give these amazing kids a shout out. Harper, Brynlee, Bailey, Chloe, Ellie, and Connor were all chosen as MVP’s in PE class, and earned the right to attempt “The (Almost) Impossible Shot”. They all made it, and got a trophy (with a few pieces of candy in there. 😎) Great job! 🙌🏻

Congratulations to Peyton! She finished in the top 3 in the school logging exercise minutes for the Step Up 2 B Well program, and got a new shirt, keychain and trophy for doing such a great job and logging more minutes than Mr. Moody! 💪🏻😱 Way to go!

The 6th grade track meet was awesome today! We even added an extra 800 meter dash (thanks to Coach Raquel Gomez for that one!) We had runners that ranged from Kindergarten (Brooks Druelle) to high schoolers. We even somehow ended up with a Tug-O-War battle between the track team and the baseball team! 😂 The 6th graders gave a great effort, and I am very proud of them. Congratulations to Mrs. Prince’s class on the win! 🏆 Great day!

The 4th and 5th graders rocked the track meet yesterday! (And we beat the rain just in time!) Great job by the kids, thankful for the helpers, and fans for coming out! Congratulations to Mrs. Goschka’s and Mrs. Pumford’s classes on ending the long droughts and winning the Championships! 🏆🏆 Great day!

P.S. Mr. Moody needs to take more pictures! Look out parents, I may be stealing some of yours! 😂

What a great day for a run! We had our Running Club Grand Finale at the track today and the kids did so great! Everyone completely a mile (4 laps. Some did more! ) and got a medal! 🏅There may have been some splashed water to help us cool down too! 😁💦

Thank you to the high school track team and coaches for letting us share the track with them, the parents/family members and friends for the support, and the amazing Mrs. LaPorte, Mrs. Parson, Mrs. Elliott, and Mrs. Risch for being there to help/encourage the kids! 🙌🏻 Awesome stuff. So proud of this group! 💪🏻🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️💨

So, we had a situation…Mr. Moody was demonstrating how to do the standing long jump in 4th grade gym class. He jumped 7 feet 4 inches. He was feeling pretty good about himself, and said, “If anyone beats me, I will give them my car!” Guess what…Ethan Estrada jumped 7 FEET 5 INCHES! 😳😱🤯 Had to pay up today. I don’t think he likes the car! 🤣

4th, 5th, and 6th grade families! It’s almost that time! 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️💨🏆 Please turn in your track shirt (uniform!) order forms by Friday, April 28, that way we will have them in time for the 4th and 5th grade meets on May 19, and the 6th grade meet on May 22. Thank you!!
