There is a fake Venmo page that is using my name and Soggy Bottoms Duck Club with Blake’s picture on it please report it as I already have. This just makes me mad and sick to my stomach that people do these things.

As many of you know we lost one of the best duck guides this past Monday in a tragic accident. I’m going to do waffle of a two day duck hunt for two people with lodging. I’m heartbroken to say the least if you don’t know already we lost one of the best man there is. This past Monday Blake was called by our Lord and Savior. Blake was more than a guide here at Soggy Bottoms he was family, best friend , great husband to Kristen and great father to Hoyt they’re going to need our prayers and prayers for his friends and family. I’m glad that the Lord had ours path cross on that gravel years ago it was divine intervention. It’s not good bye but see ya later. Don’t shoot all the ducks up there save some for us. Love ya brother.

That’s a wrap for the 25/26 Arkansas duck season. It definitely had its highs and lows like any other season. Thanks to my wife Melba and daughter Mary Katherine in helping to keep the lodge clean. Also a big thanks to Blake Ellenburg in helping out guiding and everything that goes with it. Also would like to thank all of our hunters that came and hunted with us this year and are more like family than anything. With that be said we are going to be doing guided duck hunts only three days a week Friday through Sunday this up coming duck season so now a three day guided morning duck hunt with lodging is $1200 per person with a minimum of five and a maximum of ten. Books are open for the 26/27 duck season
