Another good windy morning in Delacroix. The water was super high to start the morning after the storms and strong winds that passed through the night before. We tucked away in some pockets in the marsh and went to work putting a three man limit in the box with some bonus fish. These guys were great fisherman and a blast to have on the boat. Thanks to Dufrene’s Guide Service for the trip.

Fantastic day in Delacroix with some new clients.
Despite windy conditions we had a great time catching plenty fish. Still lots of small ones around but the bigger keeper size fish have showed up as well. After catching our limit we played catch and release for a little while till we headed in.

What a great morning in Shell Beach! I had repeat customer Josh Carpenter on board today and he brought his sister and some friends along. We set out early with Lightning in the distance but the rain and lightning stayed away long enough for us to fill the K2 to the top with redfish.

Last November I donated a trip to Academy of Sacred Hearts annual ASH BASH. Well today was the day that I took the winning recipients. Mr Blake Ridings, Martin Roth and Andrew Angelico were my crew. We headed out early with stiff Southeast winds. We bounced around and managed a few before the tide turned around and we finally started putting fish in the box. We also had a huge bull red and a shark that we caught. Thanks again guys for the trip. I’m glad I was able to contribute to your girls school.

Another windy, post front conditions. Me and my crew headed out into the Delacroix marsh and after the first few spots all we had in the box was a flounder. The tide was already high and still coming in very hard. It was hard to keep the bait in a strike zone. I was able to find a grass line with enough of a wind break and not too much tide movement and we sat there the rest of the day and filled the box. These guys had a great time fighting these awesome redfish. I cleaned them up for them and they were taking them to a local restaurant to have them cooked up for dinner.
