🚨 FALL BALL IS ALMOST HERE, PEOPLE. 🚨
Practices start NEXT WEEK. Yes, next week. As in… “Wait, what day is practice again?” next week. 😂
By now, your coach should have reached out, so you should have at least a general idea of:
⚾ Your team name🥎
⚾ Practice days/times🥎
⚾ What color pants, socks & belt your player needs🥎
⚾ The general game plan for the season🥎
Practice schedules are set, and game schedules are being finalized. Once everything is locked in, both will be posted at mysall.org.
📅 Games begin Saturday, September 26 and run through November 14.
And before anyone starts asking, “So when are playoffs?” 👀
There are no playoffs. No tournament. No championship. No trophy drama. 😂
Fall Ball is designed to be more instructional and less competitive, which means we’re keeping it simple:
Show up. Learn. Improve. Have fun. Make memories. Maybe occasionally remember which base you're supposed to run to. 😎
⚾ FALL OPENING DAY — SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26🥎
Fall Opening Day is traditionally much more low-key than our Spring Opening Day.
No player parade.
No formal Opening Ceremony.
No bounce houses.
No face painting.
BUT… we ARE bringing in some vendors this year to add a little extra fun and give everyone something to check out while they're at the fields!
🛍️ WANT TO BE A VENDOR?
If you make homemade crafts, baseball/softball-related items, or other ballpark-worthy goodies and would like to set up a tent and sell your stuff on Opening Day, reach out to Candace Strickland at [email protected] to get the skinny on how to join the fun.
Please note: NO concession vendors.
So buckle up, parents. ⚾
The uniforms are about to be ordered, the cleats are about to mysteriously disappear, somebody will forget their glove at least once, and we're officially entering our “What time is practice?” / “Did you pack water?” / “WHERE ARE YOUR SOCKS?” era.
Fall Ball 2026… LET'S GOOOOOO! ⚾🔥
