The St. Anthony Norsemen season officially came to an end on Sunday after a pair of losses in the A Division playoffs.
That wraps up our 19th season of Norsemen baseball in the Federal League. It was another fun season with an amazing group of guys, and I’m honored to take the field with them year after year.
A few special thank-yous are definitely in order:
Newly inducted Hall of Famer Dustin Gingerich, for taking on the Field Manager duties and keeping us pointed in the right direction.
Hall of Famer Steve “Goose” Jahnke, for all the work he puts into getting the field ready before our home games, putting it back together afterward, and somehow pitching approximately 87% of our innings along the way.
And Hall of Famer Paul “Hachi” Morita, for handling all of the glamorous General Manager “logistics” that somehow come with playing amateur baseball.
Nineteen seasons down.
Next year, the St. Anthony Norsemen celebrate our 20th season.
That's a pretty special milestone, and we're already looking forward to getting everyone back on the field and making Year 20 one to remember.
Thanks to everyone who played, helped, supported, watched, and followed along this season.
See you in 2027.
