At the Winter Olympics, coaches don’t get gold medals.”
The coaches put in the same hours… the same pressure…
But no hardware.
I was given the great opportunity…
to paint a mask for the USA coach Ali Altman—
I didn’t see it as just another design.
I saw it as something more
“This mask…
is her gold medal
Just to give you perspective the trio of USA goalies were so dominate
They only let in “Two goals… the entire tournament.”
Five shutouts and 331 minutes without giving up a goal
The goalie Arron Frankel—had nearly a 98 %save percentage…
and the first goalie ever to shut out Canada in Olympic play.”
What a honor and congratulations to the USA women’s hockey team
