Tonight we celebrate our three seniors
Addy, Dani and Sofia!
Two of them stepped into softball later than most, one just this season and one last and took on the challenge with hard work and determination. That says everything about who they are.

I’m so proud of all three for competing, growing, and representing our program.

I have missed a few postings of my Cardinal game winners. So I will add them here. These ladies have represented in our games in many ways like leadership, performance and team work. We have had some set backs this past game. As we have lost our amazing catcher to an injury, pitcher was out but recovering now, some bruises and banged up a bit. Praying we can get healed up and back to normal quickly.

Last game vs Grant Park we recognized two players who truly stood out for their effort, growth, and mindset on the field. First, Christey earned the Cardinal Award for a game well played. She is an absolute beast behind the plate and brings a competitive edge every time she steps on the field. As she continues to grow into a leadership role and take charge of the team, she’s going to be unstoppable. We are so proud of the way she competes and sets the tone.
Mia was awarded Ferdinand the Bull, which is given to a player who shows incredible growth and resilience during the game. After missing a pop fly early, Mia didn’t hang her head she remembered my “next play” mindset, stayed focused, and came right back to catch the next one that came her way. That’s what this game is all about. Being new to softball also, Mia is putting in the work and it is paying off. She was also the only player to get on base with a great hit! Which was her first time at bat!
So proud of both of these girls and the example they set for our team. 💪❤️💛🖤🥎
