Ascension Elite Softball Travel softball organization for ages 8U–16U, competing in C-Class, B-Class, and Open tournaments across the Gulf South. We train to compete. We compete to grow.

Starting out the Fall season strong!! Congratulations Ascension Elite 14U on your 2nd place win this Saturday! The girls played up in a mixed 18U one day tourney. They finished the championship game, holding the MS Hurricanes 18U to just 3 runs! Tournament MVPs given out by the umpires and director went to Lillie Vicknair for her work on the mound (16 strikeouts) and Harper Guillory for her team first attitude, along with batting .600 for the day! Great job girls!

Congrats to Allie DeBarbieris for receiving the Overall Season MVP for Ascension Elite 16U-Heinz! Allie is the most humble kid you will ever meet! She doesn't want the fuss, the accolades or the spotlight, she just wants to play to her fullest potential. Defensively, she is a solid left fielder and at the plate she is a consistent hitter! Allie batted .600 at the USSSA Louisiana State tournament this season with 12 hits and 7 RBIs. In the field or up to bat, the team can always count on Allie!

Congrats to all the Ascension Elite players that competed in USSSA’s All State this past weekend! We know you represented us with pride and grit!! Offensive player of the 2026 Summer Season goes to Nadia Martinez (16u-Heinz). Nadia is a beast at the plate! Her consistency and power were both on full display this season. 16 runs scored, 20 RBIs including a grand slam, over the fence homerun and another over the fence homerun at the FASA World series to bring in 3 runs! Nadia drew 7 walks with 3 of them being intentional. Way to go #19! We are so proud of your hard work!

One word to describe Olivia at the FASA World Series in Branson, is Tough! If she wasn't making a diving play at 2nd base, she was bringing energy to the team after every play! At the plate, she proved once again to be an offensive contributor, carrying a .357 batting average and providing a reliable bat in the lineup. Defensively, she walked away with a .857 fielding percentage while showcasing the flexibility and athleticism at multiple positions. She also walked away with 2 stiches after the Championship game from a hard hit while sliding into 2nd base. Blood, sweat, no tears, just determination!
