Just finished our 5th annual road trip🚐💨

2️⃣3️⃣ Teenagers

We started our week with Saturday Scraps at our place, 60+ wrestlers came out to throw down for 2 hours and get better! Spent Monday working with 1️⃣1️⃣X State Champions, Morenci. Coaches Woodall, Williams and Carrasco hosted and gave us some great technique. Drove to the Catwalk to ‘take a hike.’ Spent Tuesday/Wednesday with the 5️⃣X and reigning 6A New Mexico State Champions, Cleveland Storm🌩️ Coach Copeland and Borrego are always great, welcoming hosts and let us in on some of their secrets! Thursday/Friday was spent with the ultimate wrestling supporter and Coach, Mike Schmieder and Coconino HS, who also let us in on some of his technique🙌🏼 We finished the week with our annual cliff jumps at Clear Creek and headed home🧗🏄🏻 Every stop gave us exactly what we needed👌🏼
We need to give HUGE THANK YOUS to The Guerrero Family for always helping our program with vans🚐🚐 The Kneup Family for donating their van 🚐 and Mr Kneup for driving/supervising. Morenci coaching staff and admin for working with us, hosting and feeding us while letting us in their technique and throwing down with us🙌🏼 Don’t forget, team pics in February🏆🤝🏼Coaches Copeland and Borrego for also hosting, feeding and working with us, it’s pretty evident why they swept coach’s awards and boys and girls state championships last year🧹 Coaches Schmieder and Schmieder for showing us some of the technique that keeps their program in contention year after year, while also hosting us for the night! Can’t say enough great things about everyone who helps make the FREE trip possible for our program and our kids, we are indebted to you all and are extremely grateful! We will be back to work on Monday, prepping for February🏆
