The youth club division of the Sportsmen’s Club had an incredible showing at the competition in Marshfield, WI, on Saturday, March 21!

Competing in a variety of individual events, our participants showcased their skill, focus, and dedication throughout the day. Their hard work paid off as they brought home numerous awards, including several top finishes across multiple categories. 🏆

We are proud of each and every participant for their effort, sportsmanship, and determination. This success reflects the time and commitment they’ve put into improving their skills.

Congratulations to all involved—we’re excited to see what’s next! 👏

These young anglers caught some notable fish at our Annual Tip-up Town in February and walked away with prize buckets.

The winning ticket of the 2025-26 Side by Side Raffle was drawn by Miss Conroy at noon on February 14, 2026. The winning ticket was number 3184, purchased by Bob Prisk. The winning ticket was sold by Tony Erickson and Craig Nowak. Bob purchased the ticket on Friday night of the Dickinson County Fair. This is the second year in a row that the winning ticket was sold at the Dickinson County Fair. It was also the second year in a row that the winning ticket was sold by Tony Erickson.

From KAMO ( Kids and Mentors Outdoors )

Our annual youth pheasant hunt will be held on Saturday, October 4th at Shady Game Farm, just north of Florence, follow the signs from 2nd Crossing Road. Registration begins at 8:30am, lunch will be at 12:00pm. Please plan to pick children up by 1:00pm. This is for kids ages 10-17 and hunter safety is required.

The pheasant hunt is a free event and everything is provided by Kids and Mentors Outdoors, including lunch. Please wear a hunter orange hat and jacket/vest if you have one, or let us know if we need to provide one for you. We talk about gun handling and safety and then each participant goes through a round of clay shooting with mentors before heading into the field. Each bird is planted right before, and kids go out one at a time with a mentor, a dog, and the dog handler. We wrap up the day with lunch and open clay shooting for those who want to shoot more, and a bird cleaning demonstration.
