This C**t Lightweight Commander belonged to a former co-worker who passed. Some of my friends would have known Wally. I helped his Widow, Joan, sell some of his fi****ms of which this was one. One of my sons purchased this. It was his first carry gun, when he was licensed by the Riverside Sheriff. Recently my son asked me to fix it up a bit as he wanted something customized by me.

New Novak sights, beavertail grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safety, slide stop, beveled magazine well, Cerakote frame and blued slide.

A gentleman brought in this Smith and Wesson model 29 .44Mag. The hammer spring was cranked up pretty tight and the trigger pull was hard and rough. Luckily, I specialize in Smith and Wesson revolvers. I smoothed and lightened the pull, then took it to the range for some test firing. The revolver functioned flawlessly. I discovered that the sights were adjusted for someone who flinches low-left. Fixed that. My customer said it felt like a new gun.
