Hey Road Runners! I've been taking walks on my lunch break for a couple weeks. It adds about 10 miles a week. I'm hoping to start running at lunch soon to start two-a-days. As we get ready think " Prepare and Recuit"! I've got some leads, but no one , yet. Spread the word! .

Wile E. Coyote's Road Runners would like to hand out the first of its awards and post the lost and found for Van 2.
The Sportsmanship/Guardian Angel Award goes to: Spokanimal Print Pants for Saving our top 25 finish and possibly Ernie's life!

The Leadership/Team Momma Award goes to: Ron LaBar for picking up a lot of what Brandee used to do and recruiting a first class set of rookies! Please, Ron feel free to name your van's awards.

The Tough Man/Tough Woman Award goes to: Ernie Lemmon for powering through heat stroke, abandonment and keeping up a smoking pace. And Terri Linney-Kennedy for pushing through the night despite injury and being lost alone in the darkness.

The On Through The Night Award goes to: Paul Andrew Gregg and Lara Aven Key. Both runners very quietly and modestly pushed a solid pace over three runs, consistently like a metronome, keeping us moving despite set backs.

The Team Spirit Award/ Van 2 Rookie of the Year nomination goes to: Sean Bayman for his high level of preparedness; unflappable demeanor; unfailing helpfulness, and positive spirit. He picked up a lot of tasks, an extra mile, and got me water over a highway barrier.
