A VERY SPECIAL SHOUTOUT TO CHUCK!

Chuck came into the facility yesterday with his daughters and son to get some swings in. From the looks of it, they had a pretty darn good time.

Here's the part that makes it special. Chuck was celebrating his 90th birthday. Out of everything he could have done that day, he chose to spend part of it in the cage taking BP.

90 years old and still stepping in the box. Still competing. Still having fun with his family. That's the kind of attitude I love to see.

And yes, he's still swinging a 34 inch, 31 ounce custom bat, made right here in Mid Michigan by Escamilla Bats.

If you see Chuck out there, wish him a belated 90th.

Excited to share that our coaches will be on the field at the Kerry & Lauren Carpenter Youth Baseball Camp, hosted by FlexWork Sports.

Monday, August 10, 10am–2pm at Saginaw Valley State University (7300 Davis Rd, Saginaw). Open to kids ages 6–13, all skill levels welcome.

Every camper gets a team photo with Kerry & Lauren Carpenter, a limited-edition camp t-shirt, sponsor giveaways, and a full day of hands-on skill stations.
