Kicked off the start of hunting season with an Az youth hunt. It got a little warm during the day and the snakes sure were out. We worked hard for this buck and was able to get a nice shot to take him down. Congrats to Taygen on his beautiful buck!

Let’s all take a moment today to remember our friend Curtis Peeler. He left us on this day 3 years ago. Gone but forever in our hearts. I miss you my friend, til we ride again.

Had a great 2019 elk hunt despite the snow and being flooded in. I got to spend some time with my old friend Guy Hudson. I definitely had a great group of guys down on the Blue River this year. It was definitely one I won’t forget. Special thanks to Denny, Daniel, Papalote, John, Eric, Jax, Guy Jr and Otis. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We will see you in 2020!

Just finished up with white tail hunts in 31. Local hunter Michelle accompanied by husband Chris and DC Outfitters guide Stephen Taylor. Michelle tagged out opening day with this nice buck. Brenden also took down his first whitetail buck with help from DC Outfitters guide Daniel Gherna. Congrats to both of them! It was a great hunt. Also guide Steven and friend Katie took home a once in a lifetime bear. Now time to start packing and on to late bull. Happy thanksgiving to all.

The DC Outfitters guides were very busy this last weekend on youth hunts. Guide Stephen Taylor with his daughter Kiersten and her friend Alex took down two nice white tail bucks with help from DC guide Daniel Gherna.
Also the past weekend DC Outfitters guide Chris Jacob and son Bo brought home an extremely nice muley.
Congrats to all the youth hunters and hats off to all you dads!

It felt good to be back out there after recovering from a total shoulder replacement beginning of this year. We had a great archery hunt in unit 27 with Larry White Jr and DC Outfitters guide Chris Jacobs. We seen a lot of nice bulls this time and enjoyed a couple rain showers. Big thanks to Larry White Sr, Dennis Jacobs, Frank Ochoa(Papalote). Also in unit 7 West DC Outfitters guide Denny Gomez took down his first archery bull. Great start to gear up for the next hunts!

We had a great elk hunt this year. We seen a lot of good bulls. DC Outfitters Guide Stephen Taylor had a tag this year. It got pretty chilly on us but I had a great time with Denny, Daniel and Stephen. During the hunt we had a special day for us as I got the plaque up for Big Curtis. I’m sure he was with us the whole time. Now time to gear up for the next hunt.
