It is fun watching the progression from youth baseball to high school to college….

Expectations continue to change as players grow, mature, evolve.

Look at your teammates and it is easy to see who is putting in the work. If you want a shot at playing high school ball with your same group of teammates, better hold each other accountable now and make sure everyone is putting in the work. How badly you want it is not up to the coaches. It is up to you.

Players, you need to DECIDE…

Either…
- work harder than everyone NOW and build excellent habits that will help you navigate the competitive environment that you say you want to play in next season

Or…
- stay in the middle of the pack and HOPE that you make your high school team

Or…
- be content just showing up and getting reps, with no real goals of self-improvement or growth. (FYI this option doesn’t benefit anybody on a truly competitive Team).

Keep baseball fun. Playing on a Team of like-minded athletes is the most fun! DECIDE which Team environment best suits how hard you want to work, and commit to that.

Have a great Spring season!

Safety Harbor Hooks Baseball Open Tryouts, THIS SUNDAY, 12/21 from 3-5pm. Open to 11 and 12 year old ballplayers who want to grow and develop in a competitive environment. Bring you gear, cleats and turf shoes, don't forget water and a positive attitude! Come join an up and coming organization focused on family, community, growth and development

13U Ballplayers, come on out to Safety Harbor Little League fields this Wednesday, 12/17. Tryouts will start at 630pm and should last till 8pm. Please bring all your gear, cleats and turf shoes. Don't forget your water and a positive attitude. Come and join an up and coming program focused on family, community, growth and development!
