We’re so excited to welcome Carolyn to Love Aerial! She’ll be helping cover our aerial hoop (lyra) classes over the next few months, and we couldn’t be happier to have her 💫

Bio: Carolyn grew up in Denver, CO and moved to Sacramento CA 1988. Married and has 2 grown boys. Graphic designer by day. An athlete all her life - swimmer, skier and a professional freestyle frisbee player - yes, of all things, holds several world titles. She has always loved dance, acrobatics and performing. After her young boys started school she discovered pole dancing and it reawakened her passion for performative arts, which eventually led to the aerial world and Sacramento’s budding community in 2011. She continues to enjoy and teach both Lyra and Pole classes.
Over the years, Lyra has become a focal point and obsession to develop strong foundational skills and push oneself to the endless possibilities with a metal hoop. She’s a bit older than the average aerialist but hopefully a little wiser. Her favorite phrase is “When I dance, I am ageless.”
