Sign up with the Kavanagh’s for our next community service volunteering event in the Sacramento area: The Great American River Clean Up (GARCU)!

The Kav’s swap the small ball for the big ball and take our first step as a club into Gaelic Football!

We’re delighted to partner with the Sacramento Sun’s AFL club for a joint practice next Tuesday, August 25th at 6pm Land Park. Great chance to learn the skills of both sports.

Are you interested in learning to play camogie?

Camogie is an Irish team sport, often referred to as the women’s equivalent of hurling. It is a fast paced, exciting stick and ball game. We are looking to gather folks for a Sacramento team!

Come and join a training session this June or July. No experience is required. If you are interested in attending the Treasure Island Workshops in San Fransisco, visit the link in our bio. Contact us for more info on how to get involved and we hope to see you at a session!

Come out to Treasure Island this April and May to support the Sacramento Kavanagh’s as we compete in the SFGAA St. Patrick’s Cup. We will have 5 straight weeks of action on the pitch and plenty of chances to come cheer on the Kavs’ inaugural season of competition! Our first match is coming up quickly, against on Sunday, April 19! Come and support!

It has been a busy few weeks for the Sacramento Kavanagh’s GAA!

Earlier this month, we were delighted to be a part of the Irish Social at Limelight in East Sacramento. We got to share a bit more about our club, chat with community members, and show some folks the magic of hurling… Safe to say we may have a few future hurlers in the making! ☘️

We also participated in the St. Patrick’s Day parade! Special shoutout to our club members who ran the Shamrock’n half marathon and 10k races. Sac Abú! 💜
