Congratulations Chase Young on a 8th place finish at USA Wrestling Freestyle Junior Nationals! Chase advanced to the quarters in a 104 man bracket before losing to the eventual runner up. He bounced back in the consos with a 9-4 win over Colton Quinn (New Jersey) to earn a spot on the 16U 165 lbs podium. Way to go Chase! Fellow Del Oro wrestlers Nate Mitchell (Junior 132 lbs) and Declan Leonard (Junior 120 lbs) also made the trip to Fargo, going 1-2 and 3-2, respectively. Next up is the Greco portion of the trip. From Del Oro HS to serving our country, Ivaldi has already proven what commitment looks like. After graduating, he joined the US Marine Corps, where he served as a Corporal with 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines out of Twenty-Nine Palms.

Now his next assignment - Menlo College 🌳
