Yesterday coach Rich had the privilege to play sevens touch with (left to right) George Davis motley alum class 2021: mason Phillips class 2014 and Pita Vi class 2016. Pita plays for USA eagles sevens and represented USA in Olympic sevens last September in Paris France. Our third Motley Alum to be capped by the eagles!!

Motley, come cheer on Sacramento state rugby Motley Alumni Ryan Maves and Miles Brown, numbers 4 and 5, as they host Fresno State this Saturday in a National collegiate semi final match. Saturday, April 8th, 1:00pm kickoff.
Nationally ranked #1 Sac State hosts California ranked #2 (Nationally #3) Fresno State for the California D1AA State Championship. It is also a National D1AA Semi-Final. Last home game of the season. Venue is Sacramento state university. Enter off J street and take first right. Park in parking garage on left. Go Miles and Ryan!!

Coach Rich was privileged to referee Barbarians v Elk Grove rugby last night in his hometown of Yuba City. Barbarians coach Jonah Lessard, Motley Alum class 2008 and third from left, is doing great things for rugby in the region. Elk Grove Motley Alum include from left to right Erich Semrau (notice he is still repping Motley Rugby with his Motley patch on shorts), Ben Chong Tautz, Donavyn Allen, all class 2020 and Tyler Ostatnik class 2019. Second from right is Tai Waqavesi, Elk Grove coach and brother of Motley alum Junior, class 2014, and son of Inoke Waqavesi, Motley coach 2013-2020. Great job pursuing your passion gentleman!
