These ladies represent everything we love about this community. Strong, committed, and genuinely happy to be here. That smile after a tough workout? You cannot fake that.

If you have been looking for your people — this is where they are.

Come find your community at Pace. We can’t wait to meet you.

Youth Is Not an Age. It Is a Choice.

At Pace Health and Fitness, we measure youth differently.

It is not the number on your birth certificate. It is the fire in your eyes when you hit a new personal best. It is the way you move, the energy you carry, and the confidence that comes from a body that is strong and capable. It is the spirit that refuses to slow down.

Our members are young. Not all of them in years — but in every way that matters.

They move better than they did a decade ago. They recover faster. They show up with intention. They laugh harder and live fuller because they have invested in the one thing that makes everything else possible — their health and their body.

When you train consistently, something remarkable happens. You stop feeling your age and start feeling your strength. The aches quiet down. The energy comes back. The person you were at your best starts showing up again — and then surpasses who that person ever was.

That is what we see every single day at Pace Health and Fitness. Members who are more vibrant, more capable, and more alive than they have ever been.

Youth is not behind you. It is waiting for you on the other side of showing up.

Come train with us.

Take the Selfie. We Mean It.

Here is the truth — recording yourself at the gym is one of the most powerful tools you have. It lets you see what we already see every time you walk through those doors. Someone showing up. Someone working hard. Someone becoming a better version of themselves rep by rep, session by session.

You cannot always see your own progress from the inside. But the camera does not lie. Watch yourself move, lift, and push and you will start to see what everyone around you already knows — you are kind of awesome.

And when you post it? That is not ego. That is leadership.

Every time you share your training, you give someone in your circle permission to start theirs. Your friend who has been thinking about getting back in the gym. Your cousin who needed to see that someone just like them is doing the work. Your own future self who will scroll back one day and remember exactly where this all began.

And when the likes and comments roll in from the people who love you — that is not just validation. That is accountability. It reinforces the habit, keeps you coming back, and builds a community of people cheering you forward.

At Pace we want to celebrate every milestone with you. Big or small — we want to help you mark the occasion.

Take the selfie. Post the win. Lead by example.

There is something special that happens when a child walks through our doors.

We are so proud to have kids and babies in our gym. Watching little ones grow up around health and fitness, seeing toddlers cheer for their parents, and witnessing families build something meaningful together — it never gets old.

Children are our greatest blessing. They are the next generation, and the fact that they are growing up in an environment that values strength, hard work, and taking care of your body is something we do not take lightly.

To every mother and father who loads up the diaper bag, wrangles the car seats, and still shows up to take care of themselves — we see you. We appreciate you. And we are so glad you are here.

You are not just building a stronger body. You are showing your children what it looks like to prioritize your health. That is a gift they will carry for the rest of their lives.

Pace Health and Fitness is a place for everyone — every age, every stage, every season of life. We are honored to be part of your family’s story.

Strength training is one of the most powerful things a woman can do for her long term health — and it is still one of the most underused tools available.

Here is what happens when women train with weights consistently:

Bone density increases, reducing the risk of osteoporosis as you age. Metabolism improves, helping your body burn more efficiently at rest. Hormonal balance improves, which can ease symptoms of PMS, perimenopause, and menopause. Posture and joint health get stronger, reducing chronic pain and injury risk. And perhaps most importantly — confidence grows in a way that nothing else quite matches.

Call us today to schedule your appointment and take the first step toward feeling stronger than ever. 916.224.4362.

You Hit a New Personal Best. Now Ring That Bell.

There is nothing quite like it. The moment you lift more than you ever have, run faster than you thought possible, or push through a workout that would have stopped you cold six months ago — and then that bell rings.

It means something.

It means the early mornings mattered. The days you showed up tired mattered. The small, steady progress that felt invisible mattered. And now here you are — stronger, faster, and more physically capable than at any other point in your life.

That feeling is not just physical. It reaches something deeper. A confidence that spills into every other area of your life. A quiet knowledge that when things get hard, you don’t quit.

At the Pace, we celebrate every personal best — because every one of them represents a person who chose to keep going.

Your best is not behind you. Keep going.

Aerobic capacity is simply your body’s ability to take in oxygen and use it efficiently during physical activity. The stronger that system, the better everything else works.

Here’s why it matters for your everyday life:

More energy. A stronger cardiovascular system means your heart and lungs don’t have to work as hard to get through the day — whether that’s climbing stairs, keeping up with your kids, or powering through a long afternoon at work.

A longer, healthier life. Research consistently links higher aerobic fitness to lower risks of heart disease, diabetes, and stroke. It’s one of the single strongest predictors of how well you’ll age.

Better mental health. Regular aerobic exercise reduces stress, improves sleep, and has been shown to ease symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Stronger recovery. The fitter your cardiovascular system, the faster your body bounces back — from workouts, illness, and the general wear and tear of life.

The good news? You don’t need to run marathons to build it. Any activity that gets your heart rate up will move the needle over time. Start where you are and build gradually.

At Pace Health we can help you understand where your cardiovascular health stands today and build a plan that works for your life. Call us to schedule your appointment. 916.224.4362

It doesn’t get better than this.

A dad and his kids, in the gym, together. No screens. No distractions. Just presence.

Kids learn by watching the people they love most. When a father shows up and moves, lifts, and works hard, his kids are taking notes. That is how a love of fitness gets passed down — not through lectures, but through living it side by side.

The gym is one of the best places a family can spend time together. Build strong bodies, build stronger bonds.

Weightlifting is one of the most powerful things you can do for your long term health — and the science is clear on this. Here is why it belongs in everyone’s life, not just athletes.

It builds the foundation your body needs to function. Strength training develops the muscles, bones, and connective tissue that hold everything together. As we age, we naturally lose muscle mass. Lifting weights is how we fight back.

It protects your bones. Resistance training increases bone density, reducing the risk of osteoporosis and fractures later in life. Every rep is an investment in your future.

It improves how your body uses fuel. Muscle is metabolically active tissue. The more of it you carry, the more efficiently your body processes food, manages blood sugar, and maintains a healthy weight.

It makes everything else in life easier. Carrying groceries. Playing with your kids. Getting up off the floor. Climbing stairs at 80. Strength built in the gym transfers directly to the quality of your daily life.

It builds mental toughness. There is something that happens when you step up to a heavy bar and decide to pick it up anyway. That moment builds a kind of confidence that nothing else can replicate.

You do not need to be a certain size, age, or fitness level to start. You just need to show up.

At Pace we believe the barbell belongs to everyone. Come find yours.
